Typing Chinese Character in Textmate
Well, It was a disaster before. Trying to type chineses characters quickly kills your processes. I have encountered this situration so many time. So I was very carefully writing codes.
But, someone came to solve it.
- download this font first
- download this textmate plugin
- install the font( simply place font file into
library/font
- unzip the plugin archieve , double-click
CJK-Input.tmplugin
- relanuch TextMate
- go
Preference/font&color ,change the font to 'TextMateJ'
- done, be happy to type chinese!

Hi,
Do you have issue with the Chinese character display on textmate? Somehow mine how the characters are overlap each other. The white space is not distributed correctly.

Hey Ray,
I am afraid I cannot help you. I rarely type Chinese within TextMate now. Even if the cht plugin works, the enter mode of TM is not very handy. Lots times of switching typing mode usually bothers me.
